The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) is the most common scoring system used to describe the level of consciousness in a person following a traumatic brain injury. Our GCS aide-memoire card allows first-responders to calculate and score their patients GCS and allows for two separate recordings to be noted for comparison. Unlike similar cards, it also provides a tick-box option for scoring a patient’s ACVPU score.

The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) is the most common scoring system used to describe the level of consciousness in a person following a traumatic brain injury. This card has been designed to provide medics of all clinical grades with the ability to appropriately assess and score either an adults or paediatrics GCS.
We recommend using this aide-memoire with a permanent fine-tip marker to prevent smudging. To clean the card after use, we suggest using both a clinell wipe and a small part of alcohol gel.
