The Medics Lodge Mission

The Medics Lodge mission is to help reduce the number of pre-hospital preventable deaths and improve the standard of pre-hospital emergency care in the United Kingdom and overseas. We aim to achieve this through the delivery of good quality and realistic medical emergency and critical care training solutions.

Increased demand

In the United Kingdom, an emergency ambulance has a target response time of just 8 minutes to meet their highest priority call known as a “category one”. Increasing pressures on our impeccable emergency services can significantly impact ambulance response times. This causes a delay for patients who have sustained a time critical injury or are suffering from a life-threatening medical event such as a cardiac arrest who require professional medical intervention.

It is not uncommon to find members of the public and other emergency services often acting as the first responders whilst waiting for the emergency ambulance service to arrive. This has instigated an increased demand for basic and advanced pre-hospital medical emergency training across the country.
